Dr. Dalton Weigle
Dr. Dalton Weigle graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School and earned his undergraduate degree from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. He went on to attend dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Abington Hospital, where he further refined his clinical skills and patient care experience. He joined Heritage Dental in 2020, practicing alongside his father and continuing a family legacy in dentistry.
Dr. Weigle was drawn to dentistry by his desire to work in healthcare and a strong aptitude for working with his hands. Inspired by his father, he saw firsthand how the profession allows for meaningful patient care and a healthy work-life balance. Dentistry offered the perfect path to apply his skills while positively impacting others’ lives.
What Dr. Weigle enjoys most about his work is building lasting relationships with his patients and making a direct, visible difference in their oral health. He takes pride in the collaborative environment at Heritage Dental, where he works alongside a skilled and dedicated team of hygienists and assistants to deliver comprehensive care and life-changing results.

Dentistry has always been part of Dr. Weigle’s life. Her father is a dentist, and growing up around the profession gave her an early appreciation for the blend of science, creativity, and personal connection it offers. As a child, she loved arts and crafts, gravitated toward hands-on work, and knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. Dentistry was the perfect fit, allowing her to combine her artistic side with her interest in science and desire to improve people’s lives.
Since joining Heritage Dental in 2021, Dr. Weigle has loved building long-term relationships with her patients and working as part of a close-knit, hardworking team. She values the camaraderie and support of her colleagues and finds great fulfilment in seeing her patients’ smiles and confidence grow over time.
In her free time, Dr. Weigle enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her fiancé, family, and friends. Whether they’re testing new recipes or exploring local restaurants, she and her fiancé enjoy discovering new experiences together. She also loves being outdoors—walking, skiing, playing tennis, or spending summer days at the beach in Delaware. Dr. Weigle's unique hobby is thrifting and antiquing, especially when she can share the experience with her mom. And one fun fact that surprises most people? She was born in Japan.
Darlene
Registered Dental Hygienist
Darlene brings over four decades of dental experience to our team, joining Heritage Dental in 1999 after beginning her career in 1984. With a Dental Hygiene Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's in Health Care Administration from Penn College, she sought dentistry specifically for its hands-on nature.
For Darlene, building relationships is at the heart of her practice, and she takes genuine pleasure in caring for patients' dental needs while getting to know them personally. She greatly values the strong connections she's formed with her colleagues over many years at our practice.
Outside the office, Darlene enjoys traveling and bike riding. Her particularly unique hobby is classic car restoration, which showcases her attention to detail. A fun fact that many patients might not know is that Darlene once took to the stage as a stand-up comedian, revealing the warm personality and sense of humor that make her dental visits so enjoyable.

Samantha joined Heritage Dental in September 2024, bringing over a decade of experience since entering the dental field in 2014. She graduated from Montgomery County Community College after transitioning from her previous role as a CNA and was drawn to dentistry by her desire to help people.
Samantha's responsibilities include diagnostic screening, collaborating with the team on comprehensive treatment plans, patient education, and preventative care. She particularly enjoys educating receptive patients and putting them at ease in the dental chair. Samantha's passion for education aligns with her academic excellence—she was valedictorian of her high school, earned her CNA while still in school, and received both the Esteemed Colleague Award in hygiene school and the Student Achievement in Public Health recognition.
Outside the office, Samantha enjoys reading, cooking, baking, hiking, and riding Harleys with her husband. She has a special talent for creating specialty cakes and treats for friends and family. Looking ahead, Samantha hopes to eventually teach part-time and volunteer in public health, continuing her lifelong love of learning and education.

Jai believes in the connection between oral health and overall well-being, which drives her commitment to patient education.
Jai enjoys hiking and exploring new restaurants outside the office in her spare time.
Shannon
Office Manager
As the office manager at Heritage Dental, Shannon plays a key role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly for patients and staff. She oversees daily operations and supports the team to create a welcoming, efficient, high-quality dental experience for everyone who walks through the door.
Shannon began her career in dentistry in 2017 at a small, well-respected local practice, where she gained valuable experience before the doctor retired. Although she grew up around dentistry—her mom is a dental assistant—she didn’t immediately see where she fit in. It was her first job as a receptionist that revealed her true calling: the administrative side of dental care, where she now thrives.
Shannon finds joy in helping patients navigate their concerns and watching its positive impact on their health and confidence. She also enjoys being part of a collaborative team and ensuring the office operates with care, consistency, and professionalism.
When she’s not managing the day-to-day operations at the practice, Shannon enjoys spending time at home with her cats and trying out new recipes.
Let me start with saying that I have anxiety going to the dentist. The staff made me feel so comfortable, they explained everything, listened to me and eased my anxiety. I have found my dental office and can happily say I will going back, with less anxiety!!! Highly recommended! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
